Date The workshop will take place from 13 September (9:00AM) to 15 September (1:00PM), 2006. 

On 12 September, a satellite workshop on Unconventional Computing and Cellular Automata (organized by Hiroshi Umeo (Univ. of Osaka Electro-Communication)) will take place at the same place.

Publications Presentations at the workshop are not reviewed in advance, but a special issue of the Journal of Cellular Automata will be organized for the selected presentations.  
Best Paper / Presentation Award Best Paper/Presentation Award will be given to one of the speakers who presented at AUTOMATA 2006 (except invited speakers and organizers). The prize is free annual subscription of Journal of Cellular Automata and a souvenir.

Fee The fee provides workshop materials, welcome party (Sept. 12), workshop dinner (Sept. 14), and coffee breaks. The fee 15,000 Japanese Yen should be paid at the registration desk in cash, or by bank/postal remittance. (For Japanese participants, we recommend to send the fee by bank/postal remittance.)
